We are here to help, guide and support our young people transitioning to independence.

We provide a safe supportive calm environment where our young people can develop their skills, gain Independence, feel valued and empowered to work towards their goals and aspirations.

Wellbeing and personal development to achieve their prospects is important to us. Our team are hand-picked to inspire and nurture our young people to live a fulfilled life with authenticity and confidence.

Our Objectives

  • Provide a responsive, supportive, professional 24-hour support for our young people placed with us at 3Hive.
  • To deliver a service and experience that provides young people with a stable and consistent experience of a safe, warm and caring family life, to maximise and enhance their potential and provide them with the necessary confidence and self-belief as they move into independent living.
  • Promote a young person centred approach throughout our practice, having the young person’s welfare as paramount in all our decisions.
  • Recruit and retain staff from diverse backgrounds ensuring a balanced representation.
  • Ensure the cultural and diversity needs of every young person are met.
  • Promote the educational achievement of young people enabling them to benefit from a range of educational activities.
  • Enable young people to develop social interests, hobbies and take part in a range of activities.
  • Promote a healthy lifestyle and ensure that every young person’s emotional and physical health needs are met. Support contact with the birth family & significant others during a placement offering support to enable a positive outcome.
  • To ensure that all supporting adults have access to timely support and training.
  • A commitment to on-going learning and professional development for all our supporting adults/support workers.
  • Developing our practice through user consultation and participation.
